Lynda Morrison has the vocal power to slam you against the wall and a vulnerability that will melt your heart. Comparisons to Etta James, Eva Cassidy and Janis Joplin are not uncommon. Starting as a teen on the road by the end of the 80\\\'s she had participated in multiple tours and recording projects. In the early 90’s she recorded her first solo album, “The River”. Assisting on it were Jaymes Felix (Tower of Power), Greg Eckler (Rubicon), Bob Anglin (Sammy Hagar). She wrote or co-wrote much of the material and it was a regional success. Now performing with \\\"Mercy”, featuring her and a 4 piece back up band Lynda performs original and classic soul, R&B, rock and blues pumping fresh new life into them with her extraordinary vocal prowess.
